Victorian Royal Engineers Volunteers Officer’s Sword in excellent condition’ Regulation brass hilt with quality decoration, chequered pommel and fish skin grip wire bound. The slightly curved blade is deeply engraved with owner’s presentation plaque T HAIGH. JR. L.T. L.E.V. Engineers Volunteers with cannon and wings, a V R crown all against a floral background. The blade is marked Dolan & Co St Martins Lance London and proof mark to reverse. Complete with steel scabbard with two loose rings.
