Swiss 1842/52 pattern Sidearm – 23

By Gebrueder Weyersberg Solingen.  Black hardwood grips secured with 3 large brass rivets and brass crossguard  with downturned finials. Steel spear point single edged blade marked Gebr: Weyersberg  with  shield & 28  and the other ricasso marked Solingen. In its brass mounted black leather scabbard.  Locket has unusual acorn shaped frog stud.  Length 669mm  Blade 520mm.
