Spanish Security Forces Sword c1900 – 69

Pistol grip with wooden sides secured with two flush silver plate screws, plus a rectangular metal slot for the sword knot and a silver plate pommel.  Brass ‘S’ shaped crossguard.  Steel single edged blade marked on the ricasso with a square panel etched with’Artilleria’over a crown surmounting crossed cannons and Fabrica de Toledo on one side and no 2635 on the other. Length 850mm Blade 700mm.
