Scottish Infantry Officers Backsword c1760 highly decorative basket in a Stirling style with large round pommel stepped to a raised tang button. The grip leather secured by silver twisted wire with collars top and bottom. The single edge blade with triple fuller running its full length and engraved with SOLINGEN and decoration.
