Scottish Cased Silver Presentation Dirk Dated 1869

Excellent presentation dirk with the following inscription, Presented by The Northern Meeting to John Macbean Piper to Lord Middleton for best performance of Strathspeys and Marches on the Great Highland Bagpipes Sept 1869. With silver engraved mounts not hallmarked but do test for silver, complete with matching knife and fork, studded curved hilt with silver pommel and contained within velvet linned wooded box with makers label William Ross
