Scots Fusiliers Guards Sergeants Sword c 1850 rare pattern sword carried by sergeants of only 2/3 regiments of Foot Guards. Brass knucklebow guard with regimental badge and lion head pommel. Fish skin grip secured by brass wire and decorative cross guard with thistle to centre. The blade regulation 1845 infantry this example maker marked Hawkes London, contained in black leather scabbard with brass mounts and complete with frog and knot.
