Polish 17th Century War Hammer

Polish or possibly Hungarian 17th Century War Hammer with open frame work supporting the hammer head, the cross section leading to a open animal head mounting an excellent worked spike. Straight round shaft leading to the grip which has been secured with later brass wire. Overall length 59.5cm width of head 26cm
