Japanese WW2 Naval Katana Surrendered by Admiral Fukudome

This Japanese Katana was surrendered to General Sir Robert Mansergh on Board HMS Sussex by Admiral Fukudome at the surrender of Singapore. The Japanese forces surrendered some two weeks before Lord Louis Mountbatten flew out to Singapore for the press event. This actual surrender was overseen by General Sir Robert Mansergh when the Japanese High Command were summoned on board HMS Sussex. The sword with age wear please see images and the tang signed by Yoshindo Yoshihara.
