Inniskilling 6th Dragoon Heavy Cavalry Sword by Wilkinson Sword No 39788 purchased by E.C.B. Merriman 6th Dragoons 8 May 1903. Regulation hilt with patent tang and knot the blade engraved with GR and crown, regiment badge, ER VII and Merriman’s family crest. With Makers details Henry Wilkinson London plus solid patent solid hilt above. It is complete with field scabbard and frog the sword has not been cleaned but would do if required.
