Horse Grenadier Guards Troopers Sword c 1780 the guard is wrought iron bars which form a basket design, round pommel with extended tang button. The grip is fish skin bound with twisted brass wire, straight blade with small top fuller and a further larger one running to the tip. The blade single edged becoming double toward the spear point with makers mark near the hilt M or W within a circle overall length 112 cm blade 94 cm.
