German Cavalry Broadsword c 1700
German Cavalry Broadsword c 1700 – 1720 Walloon style sword. With decorative side bars lower rings filled with pierced plates and with a thumb ring on the inner side. Bound wire grip with turks heads to top and bottom. The pommel with 12 sides, button tang and securing the 2 upper bars of the hilt complete with broadsword blade double edged with median ridge.
