Georgian 22nd Light Dragoon Officers Sword

Georgian 22nd Light Dragoon Officers Sword, regulation form 1796 hilt with leather grip secured by twisted silver wire. The blade slightly curved with top fuller in a similar style to ones produced for Light Dragoon regiments of the time. It is engraved on one side with 22 L D the reverse with G R and crown, the spine maker marked S G Harvey. The regiment was disbanded in 1783 and reformed in 1794 length 102cm the blade 90cm
