French 1831 Pattern Sidearm – 48

Brass one piece grip, crossguard and pommel.  Crossguard marked 714. Steel Gladius type blade marked Chatellerault 1834 on one side and two inspection marks on the other. In its brass mounted black leather scabbard, Locket stamped 785. Length 633mm  Blade 485mm.
