French 1821-30 Pattern Guard Nationale Infantry Sidearm – 74

Brass one piece knuckle guard, grip and pommel. Grip base marked ‘Liberte’ with circular floral decorations on the guard, quillon and by the pommel. Steel single edged single fullered blade. Large etched lettering along both sides of blade but unreadable. In its brass mounted black leather scabbard. Locket with shield shaped frog stud. Loa 753mm Blade 621mm
