Flintlock Ducks Foot Pistol Circa 1810

Extremely rare four barrel flintlock pistol known as a ducks foot due to it’s shape. Made by Forth of York who operated between 1800 and 1813 it has a brass box lock frame with makers details and ganitures engraved to each side complete with chequered one piece grip. London proof marks to each of the four beeches and four 3 inch turn off barrels numbered 1 to 4 as is the top of the beech. Action in good working order and all steelwork has a good grey – brown patina overall length 8.5 inches
