European Swept Hilt Rapier


European Swept Hilt Rapier c 1650 the pommel is of cylindrical form wider towards the base with line engraving. The grip braided wire grip in good condition with turk’s heads to top and bottom however the top one is worn as is the base of the pommel where they meet. The hilt of a generic form with swept bars and straight quillons. The double edged blade with small central fuller which is marked Andrea Ferrara on both sides.
