English Infantry Officer’s Sword


18th century by S Brunn London, 1796 style gilt brass hilt with flattened lion head pommel and chequered bone grip. The slightly curved blade with blue and gilt decoration which had darkened with age but gilt still bright including GR, crown, royal coat of arms, infantryman and maker name with additional floral decoration. The sword is complete with black leather scabbard with matching mounts again top mount maker marked, please note the leather has been replaced. Blade 79cm overall 92cm
