English Cup Hilt Rapier c 1630 The pommel is spherical with tang button. The grip deep profile twisted wire The quillons divided into four chiselled round ends which go into the cup guard. The guard is blackened with scalloped edges, chiselled and pieced to form a floral decoration. The blade double edged flattens towards the point no visible markings.
