English Basket Hilt Cavalry Sword c 1740

In fine condition, well formed basket with oval to allow the reins of the horse to pass through. The grip fish skin bound with twisted gilt wire and large bun pommel. Full Length single edged blade with two small top fullers marked each side with x A N N O X and possibly the date but not legible.
