British MkI Drummer’s Sword, Royal Marines

This is a Victorian sword by Mole and worn by drummers in the regimental band, it has a brass Gothic hilt, with VR in the central block and trefoil finials; the side of the handle is stamped 6.1884. 2 RM 95, the straight double edged blade is 19 inches in length, good condition no scabbard.
