British Infantry Officer’s Sword 1822 Pattern

Victorian British 1822 pattern Infantry officer`s sword, the single edged pipe backed with quill back blade etched with royal cipher within panal and maker marked Doland and Co 97 St Martins Lane London which is repeated on the top scabbard mount, brass hilt with VR royal cipher, good fish skin grip with twist wire binding complete with leather scabbard with gilt mounts which has been a repair and there is a split near the top mount which can only been seen when the sword is out of the scabbard. blade 79cm overall 92cm
