British Artillery Drivers Sidearm circa 1820 – 34


Brass ‘D’ shaped stirrup hilt with languets on both sides and a one piece wooden grooved grip.  Steel single edged blade marked ‘Hebbert and Hume’(1815-29) on back edge of blade in it’s brass mounted black leather scabbard, leather tooled with various circular and triangular designs the same patterns as found on a 1803 Pattern sword.
