British 1912 Officer’s Sword

Straight single fullered blade with flat back and spear point 89cm in length.The blade is decorated on one side with the crowned royal cypher for George V, and on the other with the crowned royal coat of arms and proof plug. Plated steel bowl guard heavily embossed with a honeysuckle ladder pattern. Fiskskin wrapped grip with brass wire and embossed stepped pommel. Complete with service knot, frog and scabbard showing age wear
