William 4th 1821 heavy cavalry sword with regulation hilt stepped pommel and fish skin grip bound by silver wire. The slightly curved blade is pipe backed and maker marked Hamburger Rogers 30 King Street Covent Garden London Two engraved panels one to each side with crown WR IV and floral decoration. Complete with steel scabbard with two loose rings overall length 41.5 inches the blade 35.75 inches
