Bavarian Artillery Sidearm 1892 Pattern – 41

By Alex Coppel Solingen.  Solid brass lionshead hilt and crossguard with a single steel rivet through the grip. Crossguard marked 6.A.5.52 and reverse with crown over 3B.  Steel Yataghan single fullered blade marked on ricasso with makers mark and date letter ‘00’ and on blade back with crown over L and 93 plus small crown over 3B  In its brass mounted black leather scabbard.  Locket marked 6.A.5.52 and Chape with a crown over ‘h’ plus a ‘d’ on tip.  Length 603mm Blade 464mm.
