Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Silver Mounted

Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Silver Mounted Officer’s Dirk with good fullered and notch-backed blade etched with G R V and crown, foliate decoration and regimental crowned crest and motto. Carved and studded bog-oak grip, white metal ferrule and pommel, both decorated with strapwork designs, the latter set with good facetted glass ornament, black leather scabbard with white metal mounts each with regimental devices and bearing small knife and fork, both with pommel matching that of the dirk. Maker marked B and S with silver hallmarks
