The single-edged blade with the ricasso marked with Ames and address to one side slightly faded the reverse U.S – G.W.S 1864 The brass 3 bar hilt in good condition as is the leather grip which is bound by twisted wire and is complete with correct steel scabbard overall length 104cm the blade 87.5cm
