90th Light Infantry Officer’s Shako

A super and scare Victorian 90th Light Infantry Officer’s Shako named to Captain John Henry Hedges. The gilt fittings are excellent as it has been stored in original transit tin named to the J H Hedges, however the cloth on the top has suffered slightly due to the same reason storage in the tin. The melton cloth otherwise is super, trimmed with gold lace with a flat patent leather peak and velvet backed chin chain. The interior of the shako has a light beige leather sweatband and crimson silk lining embossed with gilt tooled tailor’s details of Henry Venn 42 Jermyn Sreet London
