6th Dragoon Guard 1912 Regimental Sword

6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers) 1912 Regimental Pattern Sword. A rare special Regimental pattern, the straight single edged blade with etched decoration of a crowned GVR cypher, regimental device. The back of the blade with the number 6888. The hilt with special pattern guard incorporating the Regimental device. The shagreen grip retains twist wire binding complete with field scabbard and saddle frog suggesting WW1 period. The blade remains in clean condition, some wear to the plating towards tip.
