42nd Royal Highland Infantry Sword c 1760

Regulation pattern infantry sword for the Highland Regiments, in cleaned condition with steel basket hilt and original wooden grip plus cone pommel. The blade single edged with fuller running ful length. Although cleaned basket, blade and pommel all tight, overall length 100cm blade 82cm.
