18th Century 1/2 Basket Hilted Sword by Harvey

18th Century 1/2 Basket Hilted Sword by Harvey in good condition produced with no inner guard and only of part of the rear. Inside the hilt a diagonal guard of rectangular sections extends from the main knuckle guard to the residual side guard at the base of the hilt. Tall bun pommel with tang button, fish skin covered grip secured with brass twisted wire finished with plain steel rings to top and bottom. The blade slightly curved with single top fuller which runs out 24cm before the tip. Each side of the blade is stamped S.Harvey which is slightly worn please see images.
