1796 Light Cavalry Officer’s Sword by Osborn

Good early British officer’s 1796 cavalry sword, steel regulation hilt with leather grip bound with silver wire. The curved blade engraved with Royal Coat of Arms, GR Crown and trophies of arms, maker marked Osborn’s and Warranted. The scabbard is black tooled leather with steel fittings and two loose rings the top mount also fitted with a frog stud overall length 32.25 inches the blade 31 inches please note staining to blade and small area’s of pitting to edge.
