1796 British Blue and Gilt Infantry Officer’s Sword

British 1796 Infantry Officer’s sword blue and gilt blade. Regulation Infantry officer’s gilt hilt with silver wire bound grip and fixed side guard. Straight blade with blue and gilt decoration, GR crown, the reverse with Royal coat of arms all surrounded with floral decoration. Complete with leather scabbard with gilt mounts, the top mount fitted with ring and frog stud.
