Viscount of Leeds Tipstaff dates 1786

Very rare tipstaff held by Viscount of Leeds The coat of arms on the top plate is their personal one while that on the second plate is for the City of Leeds and dated 1786. Over all length 50cm and complete with brass tag stamped Mitton. Mitton was the author of the reference book The police mans Lot and a similar example is detailed in the book please see image he is known to have 2 of these tipstaffs within his collection.
