A Superb original Victorian example in excellent condition as worn by The Heavy Cavalry, Dragoons and Dragoon Guards. Complete with gold and crimson cord aiguillettes. Original shoulder ranking for a Lieutenant Colonel. Original medal ribbons for Egypt Medal 1882-89, Queen’s South Africa Medal 1899-1902, King’s South Africa Medal 1902. Lined with quilted padded black silk. Concealed pockets to the rear skirt lining, handmade tailoring of the finest standard. Excellent condition throughout. This frock coat is the unique pattern adopted by The Royal Scots Greys as it has additional circles of lace to the rear waist which fits with the medal combination as The Scots Greys served in all these campaigns.
