Turkish Army Sword c 1890 – 80

Steel hilt with horn grip, a slotted knucklebow and shield shaped languets.  The quillon button has an armourers mark within an oval.  Steel double fullered blade with ornate makers mark at ricasso.  In its steel mounted, leather covered wooden scabbard and single ring mount.  Length 783mm  Blade 655mm.
