Spanish Left-Hand Dagger or Main Gauche in the transitional form with armour piecing blade. The ricasso is a square section with engraved decoration and armours marks to both sides. The steel hilt curved with floral and bird engraved decoration and raised over edges to increase the strength plus a small holes which I assume is for securing leather liner. Long straight quillons with ball decoration and complete with wooden grip which would have been bound and small dome pommel. Overall length 52cm the blade 41cm
