Scottish Victorian 93rd Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Dirk

Scottish 93rd Regimental Dirk to General Alexander MacIintosh. Made by James Ferguson Inverness with stag horn grips finished with silver caps all engraved with family crest. The blade with faint engraving and maker marked, notched along the back and with false double edge at the point. The black leather scabbard with silver matching mounts, the top one engraved with the initials A M, Thistle and X C I I I REG please note age wear to bottom mount. Overall length 42cm the blade 29..5cm – No hallmarks but fittings test as silver
