Scottish Basket Hilt Sword

Scottish Basket Hilt Sword, with a 1828 pattern regulation hilt and early 18th century blade. The blade with with 2 fullers running full length and maker marked on both side within the fullers, grip fittings and pommel all of the same period as the blade with the addition of the later basket which would have been fitted to meet the new dress regulation of the time. Overall length 94cm 37 inches the blade 79cm 31 inches
