Scottish Basket Cage Hilt 18th Century Sword

Scottish Basket Cage Hilt 18th Century Sword or trellis hilt sword. The hilt made up of inter connection round bars forming the basket, which is signed W Harvey, fish skin grip secured by 3 strands of twisted wire with Turks heads top and bottom, good pommel with tang button. The blade straight single edged with 3 fullers the top one engraved ME FECIT the centre one seems to be the maker but unclear, the bottom marked SOLINGEN to both sides along with makers stamp. Overall length 105cm the blade 88cm
