Scottish Back Sword in the style of Walter Allan of Stirling c 1740 full rear basket with pieced slots and decorative side sections. The pommel domed with chiselled lines and complete with ray skin grip secured with brass wire. The straight single edged blade has a top small fuller engraved with various letters crosses and markings however visible but worn. A second fuller below running the full length of the blade. Overall length 41 inches the blade 34 inches and 1.25 inches in width at the hilt.
