Russian Pattern 1881 Cossack Troopers Sword the hilt has a brass ferrule and pommel in the shape of a birds beak with a hole for a wrist strap. The wooden grips have diagonal grooves. The curved blade single edged with a wide fuller to each side becoming double edged towards the point. The black leather scabbard has a brass chape and locket with a slot for a belt strap. It has two other brass bands one with single ring which support the Moisin Nagant socket bayonet please note age wear to leather.
