Russian 1850 Gladius Sidearm – 65

Imperial Russian Crimea war issue Gladius with brass one piece grip, crossguard and Pommel. Centre of crossguard marked on one side with Imperial Eagle and date 1850 and the other with encircled inverted ‘V’ and the number 13. Steel gladius blade, heavily sharpened to both edges and tip, marked at ricasso with an ‘M’ on one side and an ‘S’ on the other. Length 622mm Blade 471mm.
