Presentation Copper Relief Art to Leslie L. Irvin Parachutist. This is a hand hammered embossed wall plaque by Dunhill 68 detailing a Parachute and Parachutist in super detail. The size is 80cm x 40cm mounted on an oak timber backing with the inscription which reads, Presented by the Employees of IRVIN AIR CHUTE OF GREAT BRITAIN LTD. In commemoration of LESLIE L. IRVIN who founded the Company in 1926 and was Managing Director until 1948 – Leslie Leroy Irvin was born on September 10, 1895, in Los Angeles, California. A protege of Charles Broadwick, the adventurous and athletic Irvin made his first parachute jump at age 16.
