Percussion Double Barrelled Knife Pistol possibly German as the blade has a mark under one of the barrels and hence very difficult to read maybe Carl Schaub and Cie. The action is self cocking with the mechanism housed in the all-steel grip. The back strap has a sliding cap with locking button all in working order which exposes the percussion caps and hammers. The trigger forms part of the cross guard which has two small barrels attached. The blade single edged becoming double towards the point and struck with makers marks under the barrel, this is contained in a black leather scabbard with steel mounts and includes a double steel loading tool with purpose made black horn grip, note the scabbard is weighted in the end mount to compensate for the loading tool. The action although working is very stiff – strong so being sold as at fault, overall length 16.5 inch the blade 11 inch
