Page Of Honour Sword by Prosser Presented by HER MAJESTY QUEEN ADELAIDE 1835 to Lieut G V Mundy Coldstream Guards the full inscription reads as follows PRESENTED BY HER MAJESTY QUEEN ADELAIDE to LIEUT G V MUNDY COLDSTREM GUARDS HER PAGE OF HONOUR 1835 The gilt hilt with horse head pommel decorative cross guard with bone grip.The Pipe Backed blade slightly curved maker marked Prosser and engraved with IV and crown plus floral decoration. Complete with braas scabbard with AR and crown overall length 37 inches blade 32 inches: Adelaide of Saxe-Meiningen (Adelaide Amelia Louise Theresa Caroline; 13 August 1792 – 2 December 1849) was Queen consort of the United Kingdom and Hanover as the wife of King William IV. Adelaide was the daughter of George I, Duke of Saxe-Meiningen, and Luise Eleonore of Hohenlohe-Langenburg. – Brevet-Major George V. Mundy Coldstream Guards transferred to Duke of Wellington Regiment commended 33rd in the Crimea where he was slightly wounded. His diaries are held by the Duke of Wellington Regiment Museum Archives.
