North Indian 19th c Kora used in Nepal and North India for both fighting and sacrificial purposes. This example has a fabric wrapped grip with circular metal guitars on both ends and a iron skull crusher pommel. The blade flat sided with inlayed decoration to both sides including the sun to one side and crescent moon to the other. The overall length is 75cm the blade 61cm width of head 18cm
