Light Dragoons Officer’s Sword

Light Dragoons Officer’s Sword or Coffin Hilt as they are referred too. Gilt brass knuckle bow, urn shape and quillon. Flat cap pommel with tang button, diamond shaped langets complete with chequered ebony grip. The langets are engraved stand of arms and a acorn within a shield and the pommel with a sword and crossed flags. The blade blue and gilt although this has darkened with age and engraved with Turks arms with sword, crescent moon, stylized dragon and a Turks head. Plus cryptic motto, stands of arms and stars. Complete with highly decorative brass scabbard which is a replacement, over all length 97.5cm the blade 82cm.
