According to Swords of the British Army regulation patterns 1788 – 1914 by Robson page 109 item 93 this is possibly heavy household cavalry sword c 1808 – 1818
The straight blade is 89cm long 35 inches and identical to the 1796 heavy cavalry. Steel hilt which has blacked with ears secured through the tang and leather bound grip. Overall length 107cm 42 inches the spine of the bladed stamped Bate no scabbard
