German Seitengewhr M1871 Artillerie Dress Bayonet

M1860/71 Artillerie Dress version – Lined brass hilt with a T fixing slot, a round steel push button with an external leaf spring held by a screw, plated S shape steel crossguard with muzzle ring to fit the Model 1871 rifle. Heavy single edge pipeback plated steel blade stamped on the ricasso by WK&C. undated. Brass mounted black leather scabbard with a lined oval shaped frogstud. White patent leather dress frog and 8th Comp knot.
